General Rules & Regulations
Attendance

A student should have secured minimum 75% attendance in the classes as prescribed by our affiliating University/s, failing which he/shall not be permitted to appear in the University Examination. For the smooth conduct of lectures, students have to be punctual and should reach at least 5 minutes before to the lecture rooms. Appearing in all the mid term examinations is mandatory.

Identity Card
No student will be allowed to enter the college without his/her identity card.  Students are required to wear their Identity card in the college campus.  In case of lost or damage the concerned authority should be informed immediately.

Hostel/Tuition and Bus fee
All the fees including Hostel fees, Tuition fees and Bus fees is to be deposited at the beginning of the session in due time. Delay or irregularity in fee submission may lead to heavy fine.

Awards & Scholarships
The college management has introduced award & scholarship scheme to motivate students to excel in their academic pursuits. Deserving students hailing from economically backward families are helped with scholarship as per Affiliating University/ Government of A.P. norms.

Anti-Ragging/Warning
As per the Supreme Court directive, Ragging is a criminal offence and punishable under IPC.  It is mandatory for the college to register FIR for any form of Ragging.  Seeking No Ragging Certificate from college is must prior to leaving the college.

Counseling
The college has appointed a counselor from among the teacher for every class. Students can approach the counsellor with any issues or problems - academic or personal.

Discipline
Mohammadiya Institutions places a very high emphasis on discipline of students in and outside campus. A student should abide by the institute and hostel rules and agree to conform to the rules and regulations in force from time to time. He/she will do nothing either inside or outside the institute that will interfere with its orderly governance, discipline and image. Following are deemed to be some of the acts of indiscipline.

  • Provoking students to take part in strikes, morchas etc.
  • Involvement in formation of groupism, casteism etc.
  • Students will have to attend all theory and laboratory hours during working days from the first day of the academic year. In case of absence due to unavoidable circumstances prior permission from the Principal is to be taken. In case of sickness, students will have to produce medical certificate with an application from their parents or guardians. In such a case parents/guardians should inform the authorities immediately
  • During the teaching hours the main lobby, all the corridors and the area surrounding the library are to be observed as silent zones. Students who cause any disturbance, such as loud noise or vehicular hours in these zones shall be liable to a fine at the discretion of the authorities.
  • Students should strike a proper balance between extracurricular activities and academic requirements. Students participation in extracurricular activities will not be allowed to interfere in their academic schedule
  • Students will not include in any kind of misconduct or indiscipline within or outside the campus
  • Students will not indulge in any antisocial activities and will not form a group causing any hindrance to the academic and administrative activities of the college. Those found doing so will be punished and disciplinary action will be taken by the authorities
  • Students should not damage the property of the institute cost of such damage will be recovered from students, parents/guardian of the students
  • Students are strictly prohibited to posses or consume tobacco, tobacco products & narcotic drugs in and out of the campus. Students found violating these instructions will be rusticated immediately without warning
  • Raging in any form inside or outside the campus is strictly prohibited by law. Any students found raging other students will be summarily expelled from the institute.
Student involved in any act of indiscipline is liable to severe action as per the recommendation of discipline committee.

Sessional Examination:
In a academic year three sessional examination are carried out each of 25/50/100 marks of in each subject. The average of any two sectionals examination marks obtained will be sent to the university as internal marks. At least 40% marks in theory and 45% marks in practical must be obtained to pass in each subject. For Semester Pattern, sessional examinations are carried out each of 35 marks of in each subject.
